Gas Vehicles
With concerns over the environment continuing to mount as more and more people begin to take notice of the issues surrounding them, there are numerous methods of curbing the effects of environmental damage cropping up in all corners of society. Some of them are simple – warnings not to overfill your kettle and making sure a light is turned off when you leave a room. Some methods, however, are on a much bigger scale methods that include the search for cars that can be powered by something other than fuel.
One of these ideas is the use of vehicles powered by natural gas, whereby compressed natural gas is used to power the vehicle in a cleaner fashion to the more commonly used fuel powered cars. Gasoline powered cars can be converted to use CNG (compressed natural gas) and it is proving to be a popular alternative to the traditional models; in some countries a high percentage of the cars on the road have been fitted to use both gasoline fuel and CNG.
Concerns about the environment are propelling forward technology that will enable us to find a new fuel source that is cleaner and possibly more efficient than the modern fleet of cars on our road. Hopefully such measures can be of great benefit to the Earth.
